This website has been developed to help you to easily access information about safeguarding across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. It provides information and advice on what help is available and how to report concerns so that we can work together to help keep children and adults safe from abuse and neglect.
It is the role of the Safeguarding Board to set the strategic direction for safeguarding and to carry out core functions in relation to multi-agency safeguarding.
Children could be at risk of abuse in a family, institutional or community setting, by those known to them or, more rarely, by a stranger.
